Guidelines

Undergraduate, graduate, and recent graduate students from any college are welcome to submit their work.
Poems of any length are accepted. You may submit up to 5 works at a time.
Prose less than 10,000 words are accepted (approximately 20 pages). You may submit up to 5 at a time.
Other miscellaneous forms of media (visual poems, book reviews, interviews, artwork, journal entries, etc.) will be considered. You may submit up to 5 works at a time. If it accompanies a text submission, please include how you would like it to be formatted along with the text and attach it to the same submission.
Discriminatory content, along with plagiarization will result in automatic rejection. Graphic and violent content is allowed but may be published with a small disclaimer depending on the severity.
Non-English submissions are acceptable. Guidelines still apply.
You may choose to remain anonymous or go by an author pseudonym.

We are currently open for submissions for Fall 2024. After a work is rejected or accepted, the author should receive a notification regarding its status. If there are any further questions, please feel free to email us.

To submit, either email us at englisha@bu.edu with the title of work, author name, works (either as an attachment or link), and a short <500 character third-person bio (optional), or fill out the submission form below. Thank you!
