The thin gold line that I have seen before

Laid out so gently on the sea

A second longer, a minute more

A great horizon, it looks at me

Lowering now with many reason

If I look away, a thrill, would it be not treason?

My heart full of loving marrow

Empty it reaches down below

Like I will never see you again

I will wait a night’s eternity

For your light feels like heaven
